How to stay motivated this winter

We’re already a month into winter, who’s feeling the lack of motivation already??

Check out our tips below to help you get you through during these colder months ahead

    1. Create a routine (and stick to it!)

Commit to class to a weekly class or a personal training session. Write it in your diary or in your phone and set a reminder so you can’t miss it!

Pack your gym bag the night before and take it to work, sometimes just having the right gear is the push you need to get to a lunch time or after work session. On those precious days off get up and into your gym gear straight away, even if you have errands to do first you will be ready to go when the time comes.

    1. Watch what you eat

It can be too easy to get into a less than idea routine while we’re snuggled up on the couch watching Netflix! Start your day with a nutritious breakfast and lunch you will be far more likely to carry that positive feeling of achievement through to a workout.

Take advantage of your healthy choices and use that to fuel your body and mind into a gym session.

    1. Find some #inspo

Find some inspo on Instagram such as Kayla Itsines, Madfit and us! Seeing others working hard can sometimes be the inspiration and push you need to get to the gym on those days when you just want to stay in bed.

    1. Get a gym buddy

Need a little more motivation? Get your BBF, your mum or a co-worker to join us and you will both get a month free of debits!

A gym buddy is great way to hold yourself accountable, you aren’t just letting yourself down but a friend too if you miss that session.

    1. Variety is the spice of life

Always wanted to try G:30? Maybe you use to dance and have been meaning to try Barre. Whatever it is get in and do it! Maybe you will even find a new favourite class.

Just remember mind over matter! Remind your self why you are working out in the first place, and focus on the positives, think of the endorphins and the sense of accomplishment you will feel afterwards!
