    Meet Tayla!

    You know how some people just make you smile? For us that’s Tayla.

    Tayla has been lovely enough to share with us a bit about her experience with personal training, and how it’s impacted her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

    ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

    “As a person with a recurring spinal injury, signing up for a gym membership where I felt comfortable & supported was a big deal for me. When I first became a member of FFF I was offered 5 free personal training sessions. I’ve never had a personal trainer before so I was excited to take up the offer! I started my trial sessions with Emily Nalu and I was able to easily communicate with her what my injuries were, what I wanted to work on and what goals I wanted to achieve and we got started. We worked on my technique and form and how to safely lift weights and use the various equipment and before I knew it, going to the gym became so much easier and I was lifting more weight than I ever thought I could! (That’s a massive deal for someone with a spinal injury!) So, I decided to continue with my personal training sessions with Emily after my first 5 and I haven’t looked back since! It’s been nearly a whole year.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

    Before starting my sessions with Emily, going to the gym was difficult and I never felt I was doing the exercises correctly but I didn’t know how to fix what I was doing myself so I became frustrated and would more often than not, give up on classes and exercise in general after only a few months. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

    Since beginning sessions with Emily, she has helped me become more confident, increased my strength and stamina and now I enjoy going to the gym and exercising more than I ever have before. I would highly recommend trying out personal training sessions for yourself (especially with Emily!) because I never knew I needed them until I started and it has only made my experience with FFF more enjoyable and long-lasting”
